In Europa, <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/statistics-explained\/index.php?title=File:Proportion_of_daily_smokers_of_cigarettes_by_level_of_consumption,_2014_(%25_persons_aged_15_and_over).png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fast 20% der Bev\u00f6lkerung sind t\u00e4gliche Raucher .<\/a> In den Vereinigten Staaten gibt es etwa 40 Millionen Gewohnheitsraucher. In der j\u00fcngeren Geschichte gab es keine bemerkenswerten R\u00fcckg\u00e4nge oder Anstiege dieser Raten. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warum also macht Rauchen so s\u00fcchtig? Der Tabak in Zigaretten enth\u00e4lt Nikotin. Dies ist eine stark gewohnheitsbildende Chemikalie, die eine starke Tendenz hat, sowohl physisch als auch psychisch s\u00fcchtig zu machen. Raucher bauen ihre pers\u00f6nlichen Routinen um das Rauchen herum auf - wie das Rauchen nach den Mahlzeiten, in den Lernpausen oder einfach immer dann, wenn sie gestresst sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-perils-of-smoking\">Die Gefahren des Rauchens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neben dem Nikotin, das in Tabakzigaretten enthalten ist, gibt es noch 4.000 andere Chemikalien, die krebserregend sind. Eine regelm\u00e4\u00dfige Zigarettenrauchgewohnheit kann schlie\u00dflich verheerende Krankheiten verursachen, wie z. B.:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Lungenkrebs<\/li><li>Chronische Bronchitis<\/li><li>Leuk\u00e4mie<\/li><li>Herzkrankheit<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zigarettenrauchen ist die vermeidbare Todesursache Nummer eins in Europa. Es ist eines der gr\u00f6\u00dften \u00f6ffentlichen Gesundheitsrisiken. Das liegt zum Teil daran, dass es nicht nur die Gesundheit des Konsumenten sch\u00e4digt, sondern auch andere in seiner Umgebung durch <em>Passivrauchen.<\/em> Besonders Kleinkinder sind anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr gesundheitliche Probleme durch Passivrauchen. Sie haben ein h\u00f6heres Risiko, Atemwegserkrankungen wie Asthma zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-it-is-not-just-a-cost-to-your-health\">Es ist nicht nur ein Kostenfaktor f\u00fcr Ihre Gesundheit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Weltweit, ein <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.euro.who.int\/en\/health-topics\/disease-prevention\/tobacco\/publications\/the-economics-of-tobacco\" target=\"_blank\">gesch\u00e4tzte 1,4 Billionen US-Dollar<\/a>  wird f\u00fcr alles ausgegeben, was mit dem Rauchen zu tun hat. Dazu geh\u00f6rt alles von der Gesundheitsf\u00fcrsorge \u00fcber Brandsch\u00e4den bis hin zu den sch\u00e4dlichen Pestiziden, die mit dem Tabakanbau verbunden sind. In den letzten zwei Jahrzehnten wurden jedoch Steuern auf Tabakzigaretten eingef\u00fchrt.  Dadurch ist es gelungen, die Zahl der Raucher teilweise zu reduzieren.&nbsp;<br><br>Nach Angaben der CDC hat die <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebalance.com\/how-much-money-does-smoking-cost-you-4143324,\" target=\"_blank\">Durchschnittskosten f\u00fcr eine Schachtel Zigaretten<\/a> liegt bei etwa 6,28 US-Dollar oder 5,72 Euro. Die \u00dcberstunden belaufen sich im Durchschnitt auf etwa 2.086 Euro pro Jahr. Und wenn man f\u00fcnf Jahre z\u00e4hlt, sind es 10.430 Euro. Die Forscher f\u00fchrten eine Studie durch, um herauszufinden, ob Psilocybin, der aktive Wirkstoff, der in magischen Tr\u00fcffeln gefunden wird, dabei helfen kann, eine Rauchsucht einzud\u00e4mmen. Die Studie hatte 15 Teilnehmer. Die Forscher berichteten, dass 80% der Teilnehmer 6 Monate nach der Studie rauchabstinent blieben. Sie verglichen ihre Studien mit Vareniclin, dem derzeit besten Medikament auf dem Markt zur Bek\u00e4mpfung des Rauchens. Diese Ergebnisse zeigten 35% Abstinenz bei den Patienten, die Vareniclin verwendeten.
