Psilocybine <em>(een psychoactieve verbinding in paddo's en truffels)<\/em> reageert met onze hersenen op een positieve manier. Het is aangetoond dat het verslavende neigingen helpt in te dammen. Een van de meest voorkomende en hardnekkige verslavingen vandaag de dag is nicotineverslaving. Het is de <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.addictioncenter.com\/addiction\/10-most-common-addictions\/\" target=\"_blank\">meest voorkomende verslaving<\/a> in de wereld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"830\" height=\"415\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2821\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking.jpeg 830w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-300x150.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-768x384.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-16x8.jpeg 16w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-600x300.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-everyone-is-smoking-nicotine\">\"Iedereen\" is aan het roken (Nicotine)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een van de zaken die het voor mensen moeilijker maakt om te stoppen met roken, is dat het nog steeds algemeen sociaal aanvaardbaar is. In Europa, <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/statistics-explained\/index.php?title=File:Proportion_of_daily_smokers_of_cigarettes_by_level_of_consumption,_2014_(%25_persons_aged_15_and_over).png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bijna 20% van de bevolking is een dagelijkse roker .<\/a> In de Verenigde Staten zijn er ruwweg 40 miljoen verslaafde rokers. Er zijn in de recente geschiedenis geen opmerkelijke dalingen of stijgingen van deze percentages geweest. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Waarom is roken dan zo verslavend? De tabak in sigaretten bevat nicotine. Dit is een zeer verslavende chemische stof die een sterke neiging heeft om zowel lichamelijk als geestelijk verslavend te worden. En helaas is nicotine een van de moeilijkst te beteugelen verslavingen.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"660\" height=\"373\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-break.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2823\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-break.jpeg 660w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-break-300x170.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-break-16x9.jpeg 16w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoking-break-600x339.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 660px) 100vw, 660px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De <em>act<\/em> van roken is ook ritualistisch - het wordt snel een gewoonte en cre\u00ebert een gevoel van doelgerichtheid. Rokers bouwen hun persoonlijke routines rond het roken op - zoals roken na de maaltijd, tussen de studiepauzes door, of gewoon wanneer ze gestrest zijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-perils-of-smoking\">Gevaren van het roken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naast de nicotine die in tabakssigaretten zit, zijn er nog 4.000 andere chemische stoffen die kankerverwekkend zijn. Een regelmatige gewoonte om sigaretten te roken kan uiteindelijk verwoestende kwalen veroorzaken, zoals:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Longkanker<\/li><li>Chronische bronchitis<\/li><li>Leukemie<\/li><li>Hartziekte<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het roken van sigaretten is doodsoorzaak nummer \u00e9\u00e9n die in Europa kan worden vermeden. Het is een van de grootste risico's voor de volksgezondheid. Dit komt deels doordat het niet alleen schadelijk is voor de gezondheid van de gebruiker, maar ook voor anderen in zijn omgeving door <em>Tweedehands roken.<\/em> Vooral baby's zijn gevoelig voor gezondheidsproblemen als gevolg van passief roken. Zij lopen een grotere kans aandoeningen van de luchtwegen zoals astma te ontwikkelen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-it-is-not-just-a-cost-to-your-health\">Het is niet alleen een kostenpost voor je gezondheid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wereldwijd, een <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.euro.who.int\/en\/health-topics\/disease-prevention\/tobacco\/publications\/the-economics-of-tobacco\" target=\"_blank\">geschat op 1,4 biljoen dollar<\/a>  wordt uitgegeven aan alles wat met roken te maken heeft. Dit omvat alles van gezondheidszorg tot brandschade of de schadelijke bestrijdingsmiddelen die met de tabaksteelt gepaard gaan. De laatste twee decennia zijn er echter belastingen op tabakssigaretten ingevoerd.  Dit heeft het aantal rokende mensen gedeeltelijk doen afnemen.&nbsp;<br><br>Volgens de CDC is de <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebalance.com\/how-much-money-does-smoking-cost-you-4143324,\" target=\"_blank\">gemiddelde kosten van een pakje sigaretten<\/a> is ongeveer 6,28 US Dollars of 5,72 euro. Overuren bedragen gemiddeld ongeveer 2.086 euro per jaar. En als je vijf jaar telt, komt dat neer op 10.430 euro. Onderzoekers voerden een onderzoek uit om na te gaan of psilocybine, de werkzame stof die in magische truffels zit, kan helpen om een rookverslaving in te dammen. Het onderzoek had 15 deelnemers. De onderzoekers meldden dat 80% van de deelnemers 6 maanden na de studie nog steeds niet rookten. Ze vergeleken hun studie met varenicline, dat momenteel het beste medicijn op de markt is om roken tegen te gaan. Daaruit bleek dat 35% van de pati\u00ebnten die varenicline gebruikten, niet rookten. Een behoorlijk groot verschil!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-1024x576.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-16x9.jpeg 16w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free-600x338.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/smoke-free.jpeg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het succes van deze studie, samen met andere van zijn soort, laat er geen twijfel over bestaan dat psilocybine binnenkort zal worden gezien als een levensvatbare kandidaat voor de bestrijding van een hele reeks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astrodose.eu\/nl\/voordelen\/microdosering-voor-de-behandeling-van-alcoholisme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">verslavingsproblemen<\/a>niet alleen nicotineverslaving.
